WHAT TO EXPECT AT KOGNA

At Kogna, we are revolutionizing the world of taxation with our advanced data analytics solutions. Our unique blend of tax expertise and data analytics allows us to create innovative, user-friendly solutions that simplify tax compliance, thereby saving time, resources, and reducing errors. We strive to build a passion-driven work environment, where you're encouraged to let your creativity run loose, while also being given the responsibility to see a project to its end.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and organizational skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and thrive in a rewarding environment. Beyond merely solving problems, we value the capacity for imagining the unforeseen and we encourage our colleagues to bring those moments of inspiration to life. We embrace change and view failures and mistakes as integral to the development of a resilient organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Become part of the Analytics Engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining the core data products of Kogna.

  • Drive process automation and data pipeline efficiency with a combination of low-code platforms, Python, and SQL.

  • Develop reporting platforms using Power BI/Tableau, that distill the complexity of the data into actionable insights, necessitating an ability to understand the business requirements of the stakeholders.

  • Collaborate on the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) with existing data products, with an emphasis on productionization in high business-impact settings.

  • Implement best practices for scalability and performance as the data products are deployed within fortune-500 environments, necessitating a need for robustness.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Expertise in ETL processes: Proven experience and competencies with ETL processes, irrespective of the technology. We aren't married to any one tech-stack; we care most about what works.

  • Energetic and Passionate: An ambitious personality with a drive to challenge the status quo within data & analytics.

  • Collaborative Skills: Strong ability to work with less technical stakeholders, and leading them towards data-driven solutions.

  • Interest in Tax-Related Disciplines: While not a requirement, an interest in taxation and related fields is beneficial.

  • Relevant Academic Background: Ideally you have a background within IT, Economics, Finance, but if you're self-taught, we value that just as much.

  • A willingness to travel: we work with customers across Europe, and travel can be expected.

We would love to hear from you if you are excited to join our team.
